Kristian Rodriguez, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, Jan. 4, in the 900 block of North Serrano Avenue in East Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Rodriguez was walking on the sidewalk when the shooter rode by him on a bicycle and opened fire.
He was shot about 4 p.m. and taken to a hospital where he died at 4:44 p.m., Winter said.

Im sorry for the loss...but that neighborhood is getting more stupid...i live on that street and more wanna be gangster are trying to run that hood....i hope his killer is caught and brought to justice as well....all them wanna be taggers, tag bangers, or gangster you guys need to just stop and quit acting dumb...get a job or something.

Wow, Robert still can't believe we are not going to see you anymore. Yes, you were the nicest and good friend everyone new. You had a big heart Rob. You were so happy when your lil girl was born and looking forward to raising her and spending your lif, with her, but these stupid gangsters took an innocent persons life. Today is Feb. 17, 2010 and the pain and suffering still in a lot of us. His family, friends and people who got to know him especially for his MOTHER. The crying and emptiness is never going to go away. These murderer's took Robert away in a cruel way, they took someone very special and loving and did not even think twice before they did what they did, KILL HIM in cold blood and in front of MOM. Robert did not even have time to spent with his 3 month baby girl. He was so excited in spending and watching Little Destinee grow. These killers, a priest said, "hopefully the police will get them because these killers are condemned and will go to hell no matter what. There is no way out for you Murderer's, YOU WILL BE CAUGHT!!! I LOVE YOU ROB AND WE WILL MISS YOU......

I agree with Rosana, his picture makes this especially tragic. He looks like he was a bright soul, I am so sorry for the loss anyone experienced with his passing.

My nephew was shot & killed in front of his mother my sister and God knows those killers will be caught before the year is over! To the killer: You know who you are and we forgive you for taking Robert from us and it's not us you you have to worry about but God himself and you will be judged! Hi Robert my baby boy. It has been 3yrs. on January 4, 2013 that you have gone to Heaven with GOD! I'm still in shock and still cannot believe that you are not here. Too me you are visiting tia Cat in Miami && i'm waiting for you to come home. My son was a good person everyone Loved him because he was a good friend and easy to love. For those who asked for us to keep you informed of what is going on, well, trial has not started and I am very tired of them taking too long. They have two suspects in custody but the one who actually shot my baby left the country. GOD is going to take care of him because either he will make him come back to pay for what he did or karma will get him. That is all I have to say.
