Died Feb. 13, 2010
Kyantra Harris, a 22-year-old black man, died on Saturday, Feb. 13, after he was shot at the corner of 87th Place and San Pedro Street in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The shooting took place on the evening of Friday, Feb. 12, when an unknown assailant accosted Harris and shot him several times, according to Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office
Harris was taken to California Hospital where he was pronounced dead at midnight.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the LAPD Southeast Division detectives at 213-972-7813.

If you look at the homicide map for all years, within a couple of miles of this neighborhood, it looks like a killing field.
And thats what it is.
And while people are up in arms about the "Compton Cookout"; they ignore the hundreds of people who have been murdered in these neighborhods.

Amen!! to that you, you really made a good point, and said it well. We always get so occupied by nonsense, and never focus on the real problems we seem to always have, and that's the violence, and killings that go on in our neighborhoods

it doesnt matter where you at, LA or Bmore, if you bangin or you in the hood you gotta good chance of getting shot...but if yall had our murder rate it would be a real shame..so it could always be worse for yall
