Five reader comments about Kyon Hicks

This is very upsetting to me and my family for Kyon Hicks was my stepson and his life was cut short behind something and someone stupid and no heart, no one deserves to die by the hands of another indiviual because you feel they should. You are not the judge nor the jury so who gave you the right to make that decision, this was someone child, father, brother, uncle, grandchild, cousin etc and to the person and persons hope you are caught and they throw away the key...Forever in my heart Kyon, your stepmother 11/14/85 - 1/24/12 gone but will you ever be forgotten..Love you!!

Kyon will be missed dearly. He was a good person with a big heart. He would give you the shirt off his back, just like he had given me so many times. May god welcome you with open arms and may you be forever at peace up there in Heaven.

This story is not correct he was not at his apartment... also several details of this story are way off! You also failed to mention he left 3 children behind!

Man, I sure do miss my homie Kyon. Like Natashia said, his life was cut too short, way too short. He was like a big brother to me. We hung out almost everyday for two years in Torrance and Harbor Gateway. He was a friendly, fun loving, easy going guy with the whole world ahead of him. He loved his 3 children and his family to whom my heart goes out to. Where he was slain that day was a familiar spot that we kicked it at often. Anyone with any info even if you think it could be big or small PLEASE come forward even if it's anonymously. Justice needs to be served in this matter. A beloved father, family member, friend, and member of his community was taken with no disregard to his life. RIP KYON. God Bless your soul.

(please email me if you have any information regarding what happened or how I can get in in touch with his family. nfloe1@gmail.com )
