Lamont Terrell, 19

Died Feb. 25, 2008 at 8:00 p.m.

Lamont Terrell, a 19-year-old black man, was shot in the buttock and back near the intersection of Figueroa Street and Colden Avenue about 7:36 p.m. in South Los Angeles on Monday, Feb. 25.

According to police, LAPD officers with the Southeast Division responded to a radio call of shots fired near the intersection. Upon arrival, officers discovered Terrell with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8 p.m.
