Larry Craig, 23

Died March 21, 2008 at 9:36 p.m.

Larry Craig, a 23-year-old young black man, was fatally shot about 9 p.m. Friday, March 21, in the 600 block of West 104th Street in South-Central Los Angeles.

According to police, Craig had just left someone's home and was approaching Denver Avenue when two black men wearing black hooded sweat shirts walked up to him. One of the men pulled out a handgun and fired several times at Craig. The men were last seen running south on Denver Avenue, police said.

Craig was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:36 p.m.  Anyone with information is asked to call South Bureau homicide Dets. Sammy Marullo or Nathan Kouri at (213) 785-1383.
