Lavon Ellison

Lavon Ellison, 27, a black man, died after a shooting at 216 84th Place at Broadway between 9 and 11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, said LAPD 77th Street Det. Carlos Velasquez.

Two black men or youths confronted and chased him, shooting. He was struck and made it a block before collapsing. Ellison died later at California Hospital.
