My husband Lee Kinikini is Tongan & was 25yrs old. He was working at the Exxon Mobil Oil Refinery in Torrance. He wasn't a gang member. He was a loving & devoted husband and father. He was shot and killed in front of our own home on Tuesday May 4, 2010. I was getting ready to take my husband to work when he went outside to put his uniform in the car and a unknown suspect walked up behind him and shot him. Why would someone do that to an innocent person? He was just a hard working father & husband that went to work everyday to provide food on the table and clothes on our back. Please if anyone seen or know any info about that day please contact the detectives listed above. Please we just want that person that did this to my husband and my kids dad to go to jail. Thank you so much. Lisa and kids.

Lisa, I am sorry for your loss. I did not know your husband but I have some family that live in Long Beach. LB is a tough place for anyone to live. I hope there were some witnesses and the cowards that did this will get caught. Praying for you and yours.

Lee was shot by 2 Mexicans. A Mexican got stabbed in prison by a Samoan, and they ordered the mexican gangs in so cali to attack Samoans/Tongans (Mexicans cant tell the difference). Another Samoan also got shot and killed in San Bernardino 3 weeks ago, and the suspects were described as 2 Mexicans.

@bill. I'm sure the English would complain about us Americans hacking their precious language. And by Americans, I don't mean white/Anglo-Saxon folks. Any language is susceptible to change and may continue to evolve, especially in this great country of ours where you have several cultures putting in their 2 cents into the mix... My thoughts and prayers goes out to you Lisa and to your family. kou fk'apa'apa 'atu kimoutolu katoa. 'ofa lahi 'atu moe lotu.
