Leonard Munoz, 26, a Latino man, was killed in a van in front of 1948 E. 78th St. in Florence in a double homicide. It was the same double homicide incident as Michael Huguez, 23.

Munoz was shot in the face and back and died at 4:24 a.m. Thursday, April 19, and taken to a hospital where he died.

Capt. Ray Peavy of Sheriff's homicide called this, "the opposite of a drive-by." He said the pair were driving down the street when people on the sidewalk fired at them with a high-powered assault rifle, striking both.
