Two reader comments about Leonard Thrower

Leonard (Puda) is my nephew. I remember when he was born. He was a good kid, with a beautiful uplifting smile, and an incredible sense of humor, with no gang ties. This is such a senseless tragedy to a young man who had just crossed the threshold into manhood. He was on his way. Now his mother, Charie, and the family are left to mourn his death and look to God for answers as to why senseless act took place...Leonard (PUDA) you are always loved by many, and your beautiful smile and personality will never be forgotten...RIP nephew, gone way too soon!!! tee-tee loves you!

I was blessed to know this young man. I worked at Leonard's elementary school. I saw the love this child had for others! You never found him without a smile on his face. He loved running and moving fast. He visited me often in the library. He wanted to help and make others happy. What a loss. The world has lost a good young man. Again I say I was blessed to share time and to know Leonard Thrower!
