Leonides Yama, 20

Leonides Yama, a 20-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Monday, April 5, in the 200 block of East 61st Street in Florence, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Yama was riding his bike about 10:45 p.m. when he was approached by someone and shot.

The victim was taken to California Medical Center where he died at 11:29 p.m., Winter said.

yama was a nice man i have never met him but i give my apologys to who ever was a part of his family. it is not fair that people get shot because of there skin or race. america is a harsh place and have harsh people but you got to look past them and find the people that will never do that to you
