Lester Lear

Lester Lear, a 47-year-old white man, was shot and killed inside his home in the 10000 block of Rose Avenue about 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4. El Monte police officers responded to a call of a gunshot victim inside a home. Officers later learned that Lear had been shot by an armed, masked intruder, according to Deputy Johny Jones of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
