Lorenzo Perez Villicana, 44

Lorenzo Perez Villicana, a 44-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Nov. 2, along with four others at a homeless encampment under the Santa Fe off-ramp of the Long Beach Freeway, authorities said.

Villicana's girlfriend, Vanessa Malaepule, an unemployed single mother of six, was among the dead. Malaepule, who lived in a nearby home with her mother and children, was visting him at the time of the slayings.

Long Beach police said all of the dead were friends who had been socializing with one another for some time.

this was my uncle he is missed dearly by his family its sad how he died and he shouldnt have died in this horrible way people can say what they want about him but he was a good man and was loved by everyone he was my favorite person to be around and i will always remember the memories i shared with him
