Lucio Rodarte, a 40-year-old Latino, was shot in the head several times and died on July 27 in East Rancho Dominguez, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.Craig Harvey, chief coroner's investigator, said Rodarte was found shot in an alley north of Alondra Boulevard between Lime Avenue and Frailey Avenue at 9:25 p.m. after neighbors heard gunshots and called police. Rodarte was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:43 p.m.
