Malaki Teaupa, 26

Malaki Teaupa, a 26-year-old Samoan man, died Monday, March 2, 2009, of gunshot wounds in the 5800 block of Orange Avenue in Long Beach, according to coroner's records.

Teaupa, of Long Beach, was in his car at 12:30 a.m. when two people shot him in the upper torso, according to a statement released by the Long Beach Police Department. He died at the scene.
