Malik Guiden, 18

Malik Guiden, an 18-year-old black man, was shot multiple times while walking in the 2300 block of South Arlington Avenue in South Los Angeles about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, according to authorities.

Witnesses told Los Angeles police that four black males, who appeared to be in their late teens and early 20s, drove up to Guiden in a dark vehicle and shot him. They fled north on Arlington Avenue. Guiden collapsed on the sidewalk and died after being taken to a hospital.
