Manuel Holguin, a 33-year-old Latino, died Wednesday, March 10, a day after he was shot in the 200 block of North Arizona Street in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
About 9:20 p.m. deputies responded to a call of shots fired and found Holguin lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office.
Holguin was taken to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, where he died the next day at 4:58 p.m., Winter said.

well Manuel was the best He was one of a kind He had the biggest heart and always saw the good in everybody HE didn't like to judge people he would try and always find the good in people.and oh how He LOVED HIS KIDS I can't believe some people cant handle seeing somebody going on with there life for the better! But even if they think now he cant be happy He is in HEAVEN!! Hes with His Big Brother MIKE, and it cant get any better then that for him they just left the family members so much pain. I dont know how some people could be so jealous that they feel they have to take someones life but Im sure they made there mama proud!

This is my husband "manuel".who passed away in march,it wasn't suppose to b like this, we had just got back from the "happiest place on earth" Disneyland". We actually had fun that day it was beautiful,but i didnt think it was gona b the last time. All i know is manuel is the love of my life and always wil b. Its messed up how people judge someone without knowing the facts. What comes around goes around. u know u didnt just kill manuel that day cuz i also died with him that night. "I LOVE YOU DADDY".

We know enough that he was a gangster. That in itself is enough for us to form judgments, no matter how harsh.
To the law abiding member s of society, we see violence for which it is. An abnormal condition. For gangsters and their enablers, gang life and associated violence is normal and is to be celebrated.
