Marco Corona, 31

Died April 22, 2008 at 11:09 p.m.

Marco Corona, a 31-year-old Latino man, was shot and killed in the 3800 block of Hammel Street in East Los Angeles about 10:56 p.m. Tuesday.

According to Deputy Denise Fuchs of the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Corona was walking west on Hammel Street when an alleged Latino gang member shot him. Corona was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics at 11:04 p.m.
