Marcos Casas, 18, a Latino man, was shot in the 9136 Artesia Blvd in Bellflower at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday, June 14.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Casas was shot during a fight with a neighbor at a trailer park. Deputies from the Lakewood station responded and found Casas lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Casas was hospitalized and listed as "death imminent." Casas was later pronounced dead the next day. The L.A. County Coroner listed his time of death as 4:30 a.m.
