Marcus Peters, 19, a black man, was shot at 2957 E. 26th Way in Long Beach, and died at 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, May 30.
He was walking in front of an apartment complex with two black men or youths at about 9:53 p.m. Another black man or youth approached the trio on foot, and without provocation, yelled at them, pulled a gun, and shot Peters and one of his friends. The friend is in stable condition at a hospital. Peters died.

Hey scoob its me mike I can't believe its been three years already. I know u in a better place now. I still remember when we used to play at long beach man those were the good days. I remember we went heads up once and I was just thinking like this ain't gonna hurt and then BAM u hit me and I was like sh!# that hurt that's probably the hardest I was ever hit and that's including high school. Hahaha well just wanted to say luv ya and weez if u read this hope u doin alright.
