Mario Mendez, 27

Died Nov. 16, 2010

Mario Mendez, a 27-year-old Latino, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, two days after he was shot in the 10500 block of Compton Boulevard in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Mendez was sitting in his idling, parked car about 9:15 p.m. Nov. 14 when he was shot, said Det. Joseph Kirby of the Los Angeles Police Department's Criminal Gang and Homicide Division, who is handling the investigation.

Mendez was taken to St. Francis Medical Center, where he died Nov. 16. He had been shot several times in the head, according to coroner's records.

No one else was hurt during the incident, Kirby said. The assailants were described as Latinos.

you seem to talk alot about wat other people are going through and its pissing me off wat gives u the right?..For ur info the night Mario was murdered he was dropping off his family members to their house because it was his sons birthday party that day!..He wasnt sitting in a parked car he was waiting for his family member to come out from the liquor store.
