Mark Leonard, a 43-year-old black man, was shot multiple times in the 400 block of North Wilmington Avenue in Compton about 6:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:44 p.m.

Only talked to him a few times at his carwash. Not sure what he did or didnt do to deserve something like this. He use to talk to me about doing right things and creating businesses in the community. He hired lots of dudes that simply would not be hired at other businesses. RIP big homie thanks for getting in my ear, im passing it on to my young homies, time for change!!! RIP!
