Miguel Angel Tinoco, a 30-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the 700 block of South La Mesa Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Authorities say Tinoco was shot about 10:45 p.m. after answering the door to his residence.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:01 p.m.
A woman at the home was also shot in the attack and taken to the hospital for treatment.
