Miguel Garcia, a 28-year-old Latino, was shot several times on Wednesday, May 20, in the 6900 block of Paramount Boulevard in Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Police responded to a call about shots fired and found Garcia inside a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
