Miguel Gonzales, a 44-year-old Latino, died after he was stabbed several times in the head and torso on Thursday, April 16, 2009, in the 11600 block of South Birch Avenue in Hawthorne, according to the Los Angeles county coroner's office.
One other person was injured in the incident, and was treated for blunt-force injuries, officials said.
