Oscar Sanchez, an 18-year-old Latino, was stabbed to death Friday, March 18, in the 5600 block of Watcher Street in Bell Gardens, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Sheriff's officials said he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Sanchez had been stabbed in the chest, according to coroner's records.
They had no other details about the killing.

I didnt know this boy but my kids who attend Bellgarden High school told me today after noticing there waS alot of police at there school when picking them up ,BELL GARDENS HIGH SCHOOL IS REDICULOUS ITS A PLACE WHERE KIDS ARE BULLIED AND PICKED ON NON STOP ITS A SCHOOL OF CRIME KIDS GET HIGH RIGHT OUT SIDE THE GATE SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE THIS POOR FAMILY AND POOR KID ,MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Many lives are affected by this tragic loss, Oscar has become another sad statistic of senseless violence.
His Mom is devastated, she had already lost a daughter, his sister is crushed and she is only 9, and so on. We will never see Oscar get married, have children, reach his 40th or 50th birthday. He is gone..... and the living is left to suffer his loss.

the sad,truth is alot of people where there when it happen. recording witnessing, what more ridiculouse is everyone acts like cowards runs off and trys not to tell the truth. it will never go away we will always hurt. we will live on everyday thinking about how we will never see his handsome face ever again. if you want to have some peace. live with yourself a bit.let the truth be heard have the cowards step foward and rise. for that wasnt your son who was brutally murdered, older brother, grandchild or boyfriend. he was one amazing pearson. taken too soon.lets just hope that some kids have the hearts to speak up. for the resting of Oscar Daniel Sanchez<3

My boy almost a week and I still cant believe your gone. May you Rest In Paradise. As for you Candice were you there, or are you just another person running there mouth. Let my boy be in Peace and stop spreading rumors more then, other people have done already. The truth will come out, it actually has already but, people just dont believe. I just can't believe you're gone little cuz. It seems like a terrible nightmare that will not end. It kills me to see your candles and flowers everyday on my way to work but it helps to know you have reunited with your sister. Your mom put it so beautifully when she said we should all imagine how happy you must have been to be met by Marlene at the pearly gates. That is the image I will take with me until I see you both again until then RIP Oscarin, you will be missed cause we all know to know you was to love you.

I remember I had Oscar Sanchez for a class. He was really hilarious and he would always showed me his football highlights. It was really impressive. When I found out that he had died my heart fell apart. I still can't believe your gone Oscar,but I do know that you are now resting in paradise. May your soul be in heaven my friend.

My dearest friend, no words can be said in such a time of pain...I see your face, the wonderful aroma of your wonderful cooking during our lunch time and can't help myself but to know that one more time your heart is hurting, one more time, but this time is so senseless and unjustified. Let me tell you beautiful women. Whom ever did this, believe me that their is not one moment that this person is in peace. His hands are tinted with your sons blood for the rest of their life's and not until they ask for forgiveness and turn himself or themselves in until then will they find peace. Sucks to read this but seriously everyone in BG thinks there untouchable I'm sure this kid was either in a tagging krew gang or knows someone in a gang or krew. He had to have done something to have this done to him trust me I've lived in BG for more the 20 years n it's the same song
