Osvaldo Arizmendi, 32

Died May 23, 2011 at 9:19 a.m.

Osvaldo Arizmendi, identified by the coroner's office as a 32-year-old white man, died Monday, May 23, a day after he was shot in the 4100 block of North Mission Road in Lincoln Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Arizmendi was found shot about 8:40 p.m. May 22. He was taken to a hospital, where he died at 9:19 a.m. May 23.

Coroner's records show that Arizmendi suffered several gunshot wounds to the back of the head, torso and buttocks.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
