Patrick Fowler

Patrick Curtis Fowler, a 40-year-old white man, was killed in a hit-and-run in the 12700 block of Main Street in the Athens Village area about 6:54 p.m. Saturday, March 29.

According to authorities, Fowler had been involved in a fight with two Latino men. The two men drove away in a van but later returned and ran over Fowler as he was approaching El Segundo Boulevard.

Authorities said the van was found abandoned nearby. Fowler was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:21 p.m.
