Pedro Morales, 23

Died Feb. 10, 2008 at 2:10 p.m.

Pedro Morales, 23, a Latino man, was shot multiple times at 433 S. Union Drive about 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. Morales was taken by ambulance to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:11 p.m.

According to police, Morales was walking on Union Drive when a white four-door car pulled over to the side of the street. A Latino man exited the car and confronted Morales. The two men were arguing when Morales bolted.

The other man pulled out a gun as he chased after him, then fired several shots, hitting Morales multiple times. Police said the man fled in the same four-door vehicle.
