Vic was like a brother to me. The best memories we had were in Little League as 10, 11 & 12 year olds when we almost made it to the regional tournament of the Little League World Series. Vic was intelligent, a naturally gifted athlete, selfless, caring, and most of all, a great friend.

This was a senseless, cowardly act, in which there are no witnesses. I pray that someone comes forward to stand up for this inhumane act of violence in the Long Beach community. Those who were lucky enough to have known Vic can be assured he's resting peacefully. My prayers go out to the Williamson family. - AP

Vic Williamson was a positive influence on the life of so many people. The world lost a great man when he was senslessly gunned down. He put friends and family before himself and will be truly missed.

I love you brother. See you in the next life.

People dont understand the magnitude of the loss we just had to bare. Not only was Phillip caring, but a genuine friend that would easily give you the short off his back. No words can describe just how much he will be missed. I can honestly THANK GOD for giving me the opportunity to have him as a close friend. His manerisms and undeniable hard working ethic will be forever instilled in my life.

Thank you to his parents for giving us a great human being, a true "GOOD GUY". We cant begin to feel your loss and hope you find guidance and strength in the lord. God Bless you and your family.

I just hope the killers are never able to feel peace in their lives until they are brought to justice. Please people.. Bring these COWARDS to justice.

Justice is COLOR-BLIND, please bring info forward as you would if your own son was murdered.

His parents and loved ones want closure to this horrific event. A parent lost his child...and we lost our best friend!!

We love and miss you Vick!!! R.I.P

We just lost a great individual to a senseless act of violence. I will be greatly disappointed with humankind if this crime goes unpunished. We consoled his mother as she packed her sons belongings today. No parent should be in a position to bury their child. My two year old daughter kept asking where her favorite uncle was. How am i to explain this to my daughter? This is all wrong. I am still visibly shaken and will not rest until these monsters are punished for this injustice.

L.A. Times already has a separate story on this guy, who happens to be white. They are even cooperating with the Long Beach PD to help solve the murder. This particular homicide, has already got a detailed story as well as the victim's picture. I'm just wondering why the other homicides aren't being treated the same. There were another 7 homicides this week. Five black and two Latinos. Hmmmmmmm...

I wake up
Realizing that you are gone
Reality keeps forcing me
To accept that you are done
Finished with all the chaos
This earthly world can bring
Through with all the pain and problems
And all those simple things
Am I so selfish to wish that you
Were here alive on earth?
Am I wrong to wish you back
Just so We won't hurt?
You left behind family and friends
Lovers and colleagues the same
But now you're gone
They took your life
I'm sure for no worthy cause
Am I wrong for hoping
They can't sleep at night
For motivating this unjust loss
No matter how hard I cry or pray
I know you're not coming back to us
I can only wait until the day
That we see u again
I know that you will still be you
Funny, crazy, a friend
You were never perfect
You weren't an angel by far
But damn boy you were you
Your smile, Your laughter, your words
Are embedded in our minds
And forever you'll live in our hearts♥ R.I.P P.V.W
p.s your god daughter madison sure does miss her dude, i will always make sure she remembers you ♥ Brittany R.. a poem i wrote just for you vic ..

I have not the words to explain or rationalize this to myself...only memories that I pray will never fade or waiver as the years go on without you. You were a brother and a friend and I am less than now than I was before you were taken. My thoughts and prayers are with all you're family; whether by blood or by association.

My BEST FRIEND was taken from me and a GREAT SON was taken from his family. Everyday since his death my life has been hollow. You were our Angel on earth and now your OUR GUARDIAN ANGEL. I wish comfort to your family I never met. I Love You without knowing YOU. Thats how GREAT of a MAN your SON was...You lost a son, I lost a Brother.

Hard to believe his BEST FRIENDS did this to him. I hope MR. MACKABEE, his associates, and family find forgiveness someday, because for your actions, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!! ANY OF YOU!!!

I will continue to seek JUSTICE in his name. May MARCEL MACKABEE AND HIS WIFE AND FRIENDS ROTT IN PRISON THEN HELL!!
