Rafael Rosales, a 55-year-old Latino man, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, two days after he was assaulted at Pacific Avenue and West 5th Street in Long Beach, authorities said.
Transit Services Bureau deputies responded to the morning assault.
Rosales was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and pronounced "death imminent" about 7:40 a.m.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office said his death was the result of an intracranial hemorrhage.
