Randy Telles, a 23-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the 3800 block of Missouri Avenue in South Gate, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Telles, of Bell Gardens, was driving a U-Haul pickup truck shortly after midnight when he was shot by someone in another car, a sheriff's official said.
He died in a hospital about three hours later. Coroner's records show he died from a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
Sheriff's deputies are looking for two men in a white sport utility vehicle in connection with the shooting.
