Rayshawn Boyce

Rayshawn Boyce, a 31-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Dec. 12, in the 1400 block of East 115th Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

Boyce was shot during what Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator, described as a walk-up altercation about 7:45 p.m. Boyce was standing on the sidewalk when someone got out of a vehicle, walked up, and shot him, Harvey said.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:22 p.m., Harvey said.

Is anybody familiar with the streets in this area? Who is beefing in this area that there have been 3 murders on the same street in the last few months? Isn't this Nickerson hood? Are they just regulating their block or is it outsiders beefing with Nickerson Gardens that's coming through and shooting this street up?

Rayshawn was a Son, a Father, a Big Brother, a Little Brother, a Cousin, a Friend, a Nephew, a Uncle, he was all of ours loved one and he is missed soo much. I havent gone one day without thinking about him, my hope is that you will never feel the way my family feels right now. I hurt for all that god has blessed us with and how it has gone unnoticed by the person that took him from us. What a miserable life this murderer must have, but i dont hate you. I wont allow the devil to put hate in my heart I think if you truly sat down and thought about it, You hate yourself and your hopeless life more than I ever could anyway. Rayshawn was more to us in his 31 years than you will ever be to anyone that crosses your path should you see this year, Satan you are a lier and a thief. You dont have my joy or my happiness what you have is "DATE" and Im SOO glad that "GOD SEEN YOU" and "HE KNOWS!!!" you dont sleep any more because you dont have a soul to rest youve given yourself a time and a place. There are a few things you can never get back, TIME, WORDS, ACTIONS, The time you took from him will be taken from you MARK MY "WORDS"! The words you spoke to yourself to permit this have "SEALED YOUR FATE"! There's no going back from the actions you took an "EYE FOR AN EYE" Matthew 5:38. I hope that my family understands that we dont have to hate you, you never really exsisted anyway. You go were the wind blows lost in the world like the NOTHING THAT YOU ARE! YOU FEEL THAT COOL BREEZE DOWN YOUR BACK THIS COULD BE YOUR DAY HUH?. I wonder can you pray now?

I miss my son so much I hurt every day; there is not a day that goes by that I don't cry. To have a child taken from you like that is something that I do not wish on any one. My son left three boys here with no father now. The devil that did this will have his day. Don,t think not for one min that God Don,t know who you are.Rayshawn was loved by everyone. He was a big guy with a heart of gold.
My three grandsons are so hurt. They ask me why and who all the time. Those boys loved there dad and he spent lots of time with them. It's so hard on us but I just have to remember what the bible say that the person that did this will soon be cut down.(PSALMS 37) I LOVE YOU SON AND AS LONG AS I AM HERE IN THIS WORLD I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR BOYS...R.I.P. LOVE YOUR MOM

after some deep soul searching i know you are in a better place.sometimes we get so selfish we want you here but god is in charge and he knows whats best. jesus christ died on the cross for our sins so that we could have everlasting life in a different since. god knows we are all sinners we were created through sinners but he knows our heart. you were always willing to lend a helping hand everyone said so many good things about you. it made me proud to be your sister. love you always until we meet again......

Man, this an all too common thing that happens in Los Angeles.
To all the family, So sorry about your lost.
Terrible tragedy. God bless the kids that lost there Dad. And God Bless the Mom who lost her Son. And all of his family.
It's some sick people going around killing and hurting folks. God knows who you are and his wrath will be upon you. Satan will use you for a minute but the devil will turn on you. Soon you will be caught for some crime and enter the gates of living hell (California Department of Corrections) for the rest of your life. And at that day when you are sentenced then you will see the wrath of god and you will be in that hell every minute and day of your natural life on earth.
(You will hurt just like you hurt so many of gods people. You will fill the pain by being alive but dead in prison with other Satan workers!)

Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

God bless the family and know that the lord will work it ALL out.

Just look at this guy...yeah....he was an honest hard-working law abiding citizen. The only ones that are going to miss him are his worthless "homies". I love how most of the deceased in the homicide report are blacks and latinos. I hope they keep up the good work of killing eachother off.

To "cgas", yes I 'm looking at this guy and I a see a human being. You are stereotyping someone from one pose in a picture?! Unless you knew the individual and can offer FACTS about his life then you can not make that statement. You my friend are the saddest one of all, a person who lives in a "ghetto of the mind".
