I did not know Mr. Eastwood but I know that he was an elderly gentleman and I feel that persons who commit crimes against the elderly should recieve additional time for that alone. I live near where this incident happened and I heard stories about how this man pleaded with his attacker not to hit him again and I've heard people talking about the screaming noises they heard that night..no one deserves to die at the hands of another but there is a certain level of respect for the elderly.....well, there used to be! My prayers go out to the Remington family and if and when the perpetrator of this senseless crime is caught...my prayer is that they receive the MAXIMUM penalty for this crime.
