Rene Sandoval, 22

Died Sept. 2, 2009 at 7:33 p.m.

Rene Sandoval, a 22-year-old Latino, died Wednesday, Sept. 2 after he was shot twice in the 6800 block of San Rafael Street in Paramount, according to Los Angeles County coroner officials.

Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Sandoval had been shot in the head August 29 and was on life support at a hospital until his death four days later at 7:22 p.m.

No information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting was immediately available.
