Rhett Lord, 23 [Updated]

He was a nice guy, he volunteered to go to one of our Jr High camps from church and cook for the kids. He cooked spaghetti and put together some sandwiches. One of the nights he actually slept outside on the cold floor. Only he could of pulled something like this. Miss you...

Rhett was a wonderful person, a loving son. He was his grandmothers first grandchild from her daughter (Salli) He was spoiled with love. Which he gave back 100% to his family and friends. We will miss him so very much. He leaves behind a wife and 16 month old son. He also has 2 brothers 2 sisters and 3 parents. It hurts our hearts down to our very souls that we will never again on this earth see and hold this bright and loving child of ours. Love Dad

Rhett was my brother, Johnny's grandson.
His Dad, John Frederick,is my nephew so
Rhett, being my great-nephew and a part of my brother and nephew, had a kind heart. He had many great traits, with one being that he was a handsome young man. He has left a wife, Stephanie, and a young son, Phett, Jr. which I understand was the love of his life. Leaving a son named after him is a great legacy. Our thoughts,prayers and love are with all the family members.

To loose someone is very hard but to loose them to murder is unthinkable. The detective on the case is Dan McElberry and Kevin Acededo, I hope they get the person.

I'm Rhett Wife Stephanie, this is a bad situation that has happen to my husband and our families, Our son lil Rhett loved his dad greatly and Big Rhett loved him greatly. We had a great love and I will always love him.
I Do thank you all for your love and support for our family at this sad time in our life.
Rhett will always be in our heart and he will be always remembered.

Rhett's father John Fredrick sent me pictures when he last visited LA to see Rhett Jr. and his family. They were wonderful pictures of all the family at home, some of a cookout with Stephanies' family. Rhett has a huge extended family in Georgia that are all deeply sadden that his life ended so soon. We pray for Rhetts' wife Stephanie and for Rhett Jr. at this time of immeasurable loss and hold them in our hearts.

I am so sorry for the loss of Rhett, I know that he will be missed by so many that loved him very, very much. He was a sweet person I know from all the things that have been posted about him.

Rhett Lord was my nephew. I have many fond memories of him when he was growing up in Okatee, SC. These evil bastards have snuffed out a young life full of promise and have devastated two families. They will be brought to justice no matter what it takes.

There is a tremendous sadness in my heart over the loss of Rhett.

Rhett and Stephanie Lord where my roommates when they were first together and we had the privilege of having him in our home and my kids had a great time getting to know him. They loved him very much. My baby girl called him daddy,thats how much he use to care for them and my little son loved him to pick him up from school,rhett would let him ride on his shoulders,my older son looked at him like a big brother.Rhett would talk to him about stuff when they walked to the store or where ever they went. He put up their xmas lights one year and they are still there three yrs later. They will be lit in his memory every xmas till they wont shine anymore. I have so many memories of rhett from the time they lived with us and after. once he got in the water slide for my sons birthday and had to wear some of my older sons shorts while his shorts dried. We were all busting up cause they were tight and a bit short on him,he looked hilarious. Then he was like a big kid for easter,when he was hunting eggs with us. He also bar b qued some ribs once he was so proud of those ribs. That was his first time bbqing for us. He would sit in my kids little tiny pool just to make them happy now can u imagine this giant man in a tiny kiddie pool,but that was the kind of guy he was. If I needed him to walk me anywhere he would just so he knew i was safe and stephanie told him he better take care of chowder so he did.lol. When he found out he was going to be a daddy, he was so crazy happy and treated stephanie like she was a delicate doll when she was prego. He was a good husband and father. To my friend rhett, I was glad to have the pleasure of meeting you in this lifetime and knowing you. I will miss your smile and kind eyes, your goofiness,your snoring lol, but I know you'll be around in spirit, when that breeze blowes by me unexpectedly I will know its you. Till we meet again in the next,love you always shamane. oh yeah p.s. I have to throw this in rhett. member when you always had to go to the store for the groceries cuz rene never brought the right stuff back.

Today, June 22, is your 24th birthday. We all miss you so much. Your endless energy, your laugh, your cooking. How you loved and cared about people, especially King Baby.
It still doesn't seem real that you are gone.

Today marks 2years that my husband has been gone.....our son is gettin bigger but he don't forget who his daddy is, I show him his picture n he say "daddy." It don't seem like 2year. When I look at our son I see Big Rhett.
His death is still a mystery, the Det. Never get back to me or informed me of any updates, but I still hope n pray I hear something like, they found out who it was but I guess thats just something I'll be waiting for forever, just like I'll be waiting for a call from BIG RHETT.
Lil Rhett n I luv n miss u but we know ur alwayz lookin over us.
