Richard Tyson

Richard Tyson, 20, a young black man, was shot multiple times by an Inglewood police officer at 906 Victor Ave. in Inglewood and died at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday, May 9.

According to Inglewood police, Tyson was on a bicycle, and an officer from the department's anti-crime team had tried to stop him for a municipal code violation. Tyson ran. Officers followed. One was searching for him in a back yard and found him hiding in "dense bushes."

The officer told him to surrender, and he "advanced toward" the officer. At some point, the man reached for his waistband, and the officer, thinking he was reaching for a gun, shot him. Tyson's foster family contacted The Homicide Report and sent the photo shown here.

The violation was he was black man. And the fact he was in a backyard where there were no witness makes it easy for that dumb ass cop to say "he advanced towards me and reached for his waist" PURE B.S.!

This guy was from NEIGHBORHOOD PIRUS. This is a blood gang. Just in case you've been living under a rock....Bloods identify themselves by wearing red. This gang (NHP) in particular terrorizes neighborhoods in Inglewood. The "13k" that Ing 90302 states in his message means that they kill latino gang members. The "13" means south side. Normally related to Latino gangs. And the "K" stands for killers. So this guy was no angel.

There are so many gang bangers in those areas. I know, I used to live there. The cops out there have it bad, they live in fear everyday. These men/women are out there killing eachother....who's to say they would hesitate to kill him?

As sad as it is that this boy was killed, if the gang banging and killing would stop in those areas cops would be less inclined to pull there weapon.
