Richard Vera, a 21-year-old Latino man, was shot and killed in an alley in the 1300 block of Parade Street in Long Beach about 4:15 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
According to Long Beach police, officers responded to a call of a deceased male adult in an alley. Vera had been shot in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
