Ricky Juarez, a 17-year-old Latino, died Saturday, April 9, a day after he was shot in Pacoima, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Juarez was shot April 8 outside a Pacoima party. Police said Juarez was the victim of a suspected gang-related shooting that occurred about 10:30 p.m.
He had been on life support at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center before he died, Los Angeles police Lt. Robert Davis said. Coroner's records show he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
