Roberto Alarcon, 17

Roberto Alarcon, a 17-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Wednesday, Sept. 1, in the 10000 block of Hulme Avenue in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The street shooting, which occurred shortly after 7 p.m., killed Alarcon and wounded another teenage boy, authorities said.

Alarcon was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's officials. The other teenager was taken to a hospital. His condition was not available.

Robert was celebrating his 17th birthday with family & friends the night he was murdered. My the lord have mercy on the cowards that committed this horrible crime. RIP Robert!
