Roberto Lopez, a 36-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Saturday, July 23, in the 9000 block of Aqueduct Street in North Hills, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Officers responded to a call about a shooting and found Lopez in a backyard with a gunshot wound, according to an LAPD news release.
Paramedics were called and Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner's records show he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Although investigators have collected some evidence in connection with the shooting, no arrests have been made.
