Rogelio Sanchez, a 31-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, July 31, in the 11900 block of Pioneer Boulevard in Norwalk, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Sanchez was found down in an alley about 12 a.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.
Authorities were called, and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he died at 1:39 p.m.
According to coroner's records, Sanchez was shot several times.
