Ronisha Chatman, a 22-year-old black woman, was shot and killed Tuesday, March 2 in the 4400 block of East 15th Street in Lancaster, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Chatman was shot at least once about 8 p.m. She was pronounced dead at a hospital, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

This was a good girl, she was sooooo close to getting her degree. She leaves behind a 1 year old daughter. Such a loss. She was shot by her boyfriend.

RONISHA WAS A BEAUTIFUL GIRL ,THIS WAS A TRAGIC INCIDENT, A LIFE THAT WAS TOOK TOO TOO SOON , SHE LOOKED LIKE A PRINCESS FOR HER HOMEGOING, YES SHE WILL TULY BE MISSED, NEVER FORGOTTEN AND ALWAYS LOVED

Such a sad sad tragedy. Another senseless shooting, another orphaned child, another young black man incarcerated. This young sister may be gone but her warm friendly smile and pleasant demeanor will always be remembered and admired. Rest in peace, Ronni.

ronisha was my eldest child and she was the greatest gift i ever recieved.
i was always proud of her every accomplishment and even prouder that she was my daughter.
she was my honey bunny and she ws truly a daddy's girl.
her life was dedicated to the life of her daughter (delilah) and now i will be just as much a dad to delilah as i was to ronisha.
delilah is alright and she always will be honey bunny.
we truly love and miss you.

I love you ronisha with all my heart even thouigh i told you that man was no good i respected the fact that you were with him because you were my best friend i feel so bad till this day because i let him distant our friendship and i didnt hang out with you or do nothing with u and it hunts me everyday i have to live with this burden for the rest of my life without my best friend but one thing i did learn is that if you truly love somebody and you guys truly have a friendship cant nobody distant it except the devil can try but now i got god by my side and i make sure that now i keep in touch with all my friends but none of them will ever be able to eplace a friend like you i love you rara and delilah and i love grandma dad tiara i love you guys all and i will alway jhave a special prayer in my heart for you guy call me idont know what went on with the case i had went to prison right after the first court date so idk what is going on please call me somebody 6618743428 carla call or text tjank you god bless

Hey RaRa its been 2 long yrs going on 3 time flies just wanted to let you know i miss you so so much i remember all the good times we had as well as the downs lols but hey thats what sisters do "argue" i wanted to let you know you have a little niece or nephew on the way. if its a girl im gonna name her after you. oh yea i seen my babygirl not to long ago sheeesh she look just like you thats aunties baby we miss rara and love you unconditionally save me a spot up there girly well gotta go for now sis.
