Ronnie Knighten Jr., 22

Died Aug. 27, 2009 at 3:57 a.m.

Ronnie Knighten Jr., a 22-year-old black man, died Aug. 27 after being shot several times at Main Street and 95th Street in Broadway-Manchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.

Knighten was shot Aug. 26 at 11 p.m. and died at a hospital early the next morning at 3:57 a.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office.

No other information about the shooting was immediately available.
