Rosendo Manrique, 24

Rosendo Manrique, a 24-year-old Latino man, was shot multiple times in the 28700 block of Lincoln Street about 12:13 a.m. Sunday, March 9.

Manrique was attending a birthday party when a fight broke out between him and another Latino man, authorities said. The man pulled out a handgun and fired several shots, wounding Manrique and injuring another Latino man. Both men were taken to a hospital, where Manrique was pronounced dead. The second man was listed in stable condition.

The suspect was described only as a Latino man, authorities said. Homicide detectives with the Sheriff's Department are investigating.
