Saul Soriano, a 41-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Jan. 1, 2009, by three Los Angeles Police Department officers at a home in the 14100 block of Terra Bella Street in Arleta.
Police arrived at the residence in response to a 911 call saying that Soriano was firing shots in the air and threatening his family during a New Year’s Eve party. Responding officers surrounded the property and evacuated everyone before searching for Soriano.
Officers encountered Soriano, who was armed, in the crawl space above the detached converted garage. The shooting ended a nearly two-hour search. The incident is under investigation.

the lapd can have corrupted officers that dont care about killing people or the lost of someone special.to amny people this man was loved. he was my uncle that i loved and becuse of the lapd my families life has never been the same.the lost of my uncle is a sad reminder everyday.the way he was killed like an animal and then us having to clean up his blood was something i could never forget.
