Shawn Bryant, a 22-year-old black man, was fatally shot Friday, June 24, in the 11000 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Bryant was approached by a person about 12:27 a.m. and was shot several times.
Authorities were called and Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:50 a.m.
Winter had no other details about the incident.
