Shedrick Taylor, a 51-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Aug. 27, in the 11600 block of Hawthorne Boulevard in Hawthorne, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said a property manager at a business building noticed an office light was on in the late evening. When manager went into the office, he found Taylor shot on the floor.
Authorities were called and Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:30 p.m.
Coroner's records show Taylor suffered gunshot wounds to the head, neck and right shoulder.
Winter said he had no other information about the case.

I know of him is that he was kind, generous, and respectful and was good to the ones he loved. He did not deserve what happened to him.

Shedro was someone who was deeply loved by so many people. He made a positive impact in the lives of others, especially his family and close friends. I always admired the way he loved and spoke so highly of his mother. Shedro was a friend to me, unconditionally, for more than 20 years and will live on in my heart forever.

I hope they catch the dirty mf responsible for this sick crap... Sedro was such a great person whom I loved very much I can't believe someone could even THINK to do this smh smh smh I'm so hurt by this ...God bless his soul

still smh in disbelif..What I kno of him is that He was Well Reserved type of fella... Beatiful Spirit mixed with a lil bit of Dry Comedy....I LOved His Stories!!! CANT FORGET THAT PERFECT SMILE!!!.....SHEDRO U WERE THE MAN!!!

Shedro was a good friend of mine for about 8 yrs he was so sweet and generous and a gentleman always , i just heard about this a week ago i had been calling him for a couple of weeks with no answer and that wasnt like him not to return my calls, as far as family i only met his beautiful daughter, i cant imagine why someone would do this to shedro i will.miss you baby. Someone who loved you

I have known Sedro for 18 years. I just found out today what happened to him. He was an absolute gentleman. Extremely generous. Told awsome stories. He was a fair man. He had alot of grace, loved his mother, This world needs more men like he was. Respected all women and I thank him so much for being a big part in my life. I pray to God for your peace my good friend. I pray for God's will for that hatin'sob who did this most ugliest thing to you. You were always beautiful from the inside out. I will miss you always.
