Sidney Garrett, 17, a black youth, was shot in the back at 2546 Bronson Avenue in Jefferson Park and died at 12:10 a.m. Feb. 20. Neighbors heard shots and called police, who found the wounded Garrett. He was taken to a hospital, where he died. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (213) 485-2417.
