No, this was not a rival gang and I can only hope and pray that anyone with information calls Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477 to give any information that they have. The person that did this is free and needs to pay for what he has done. I can only hope that the other bystanders have heart enough to see the pain that this has caused and the guts enough to call. We would not want anyone else to go through the pain that we are going through. I Love You Mijo...Rest in Paradise XOXOX

— Foclipz is right. It seems like the insightful comments and probing questions from a couple years ago is now being filtered out.

I hope the editors of this blog open up the discussion by not allowing the relatives of some of these homicides to sugar coat the lives of the deceased.

An honest debate is needed on this horrible subject, and the last thing we need is not printing a comment because it might offend someone.

I have to respectfully disagree with syscom3 and Foclipz, it doesn't make sense to inflame people who are already angry and upset. Your just adding fuel to the fire.

What people need is caring, empathy, and love.

@ foclipz and syscom3 ..If the comments left behind by family and loved ones sharing there feelings for the deceased has offened you had the option to just click to the next HR report, gloryfing the lifestyle they chose to live was not the purpose of the posts by us but letting people like yourself who chose to read the report know that they were not just a gang member who just" hung out", he was a father, son, brother, nephew and cousin and was loved NO MATTER what decisons or way of life he chose! and this was our way of expressing our pain that we feel! he was not just another statistic to us!! he was our family! I will pray that this does not ever happen to someone you love and that your family member of yours will not appear in a HR report!.God Bless

— socorros loved one left to mourn .... the deceased was a violent criminal who terrorized others and contributed to the destruction of our society.

How come his family has never apologized for his evil way of life? How come they never extended their apologies to the many victims of his gang?

I don't like seeing a criminal being made up to be someone they are not. A good family man does not engage in sociopathic behavior.

Maybe you are hearing the truth for the first time in your life!

You live by the sword..... You die by the sword..... And, You DIE the LIFE you LIVE! Gangster life, violent death... Hopefully his family will make sure his children choose a different lifestyle....

I have to agree with Syscom3 and Foclipz. It is so sad to see what these men are doing to each other and to society as a whole. They are living as wild animals. I see it said everyday on the HR, but what IS the solution. Gangbangers need to value human life, all human life, not just the life of their friends and family. Right now people outside of the gangs are potential "licks" or money, until that view changes, things will continue on as they are now.

So if gangsters go to heaven doing what they do then who goes to hell? I have no position to judge but I know one thing for certain living the gang life is not from God.
