Stanley Daniels, 31, was shot in the chest at 3961 S. Western Ave. in Harvard Heights, and died at 4:25 a.m. Saturday, June 2. There was gunfire, and a car sped away.
Daniels collapsed in the southbound lanes of Western Avenue. There was no 911 call. Officers on patrol found Daniels lying in the street, bleeding. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
